Five Canyons Annual Membership Meeting and Board Election Thursday February 19, 2008 – 7PM
We hope that you can join us for the annual membership meeting. Ballots have been mailed to all members of Five Canyons. If you plan to attend the meeting in person, we still need to have your ballot prior to the election. By law, all voting items are now conducted through the secret ballot, already mailed to you.

The association must have 26% of the membership (238 lots) represented at the meeting either by ballot or in person; therefore it is VERY IMPORTANT that you RETURN THE BALLOT so that we can hold this important meeting and not be forced to reschedule. You do not need to attend the meeting in order to vote. You may either mail in your Ballot or deliver it to the Inspectors of Election.

Your vote does count!!

The Board of Directors consists of 5 members of the association, each elected by YOU!, the members of Five Canyons. Terms are for two years and are staggered so that the Board retains continuity. Actual Officer Positions (President, VP, Treasurer and Secretary) are decided by the Board of Directors themselves. No Board member, regardless of their official Officer title, has more voting power than any other officer.

This year, two director positions are up for election, seats currently held by longtime board members Mike Miraglia and Tim Young. We do have three members running for the two available director seats.
